The village of Barnham Broom is in south Norfolk and can be found on the River Yare, 13 miles west of Norwich. It is home to the popular Barnham Broom Hotel and Golf School, which attracts visitors from afar. Barnham Broom church, St Peter and St Paul, stands on the site where originally two churches stood, and overlooks the valley of the River Yare.
