The picturesque Broadland village of South Walsham is situated 9 miles from Norwich and boasts 2 churches in the same churchyard. Today St Lawrence is used as a parish hall and St Mary, the grander of the 2 buildings, is open for worship. South Walsham has its own post office, 2 public houses, some very pretty cottages, a village green and a broad that is located about a mile from the village. There are some lovely walks in and around the village and broad and an abundance of wildlife to be seen.
