This small village is about 7 miles from the market town of Fakenham. Its church, St Andrew’s, is a typical small, Norfolk, parish church. It does have an interesting dado to the roodscreen though, which tells stories of the resurrection, St George and the dragon and St Sebastian in a series of pictures. The screen is dated 1534, just before the Protestant Reformation.
