Alpington village, Norfolk

A pleasant village 6 ½ miles south east of Norwich with a population of 460 in 2001. Alpington parish church was dilapidated many centuries ago, and no traces of it remain today. Norfolk tennis professional Richard Bloomfield who is from Alpington has recently reached a career high with the release of the latest ATP rankings on Monday 6 November 2006. The 23-year-old is up to 196 in the ATP World Rankings.
