
Antingham village, Norfolk
The north Norfolk village of Antingham is 2 ½ miles north west of North Walsham, 16 miles north of Norwich and 6 miles south of Cromer. It covers an area of 6.12 square kilometres and in 2001 had a population of 287, in 120 households. The village church, St Mary, was built using flint and has been restored over the centuries with the stones from a neighbouring church. Permission was given for the use of stones from the church St Margaret, which today stands in ruins, covered in elder.
