Dilham village, Norfolk
Dilham is a peaceful village situated 9 miles east of Aylsham, on the River Ant, within the Broads National Park. Its name derives from the herb, dill, which was grown extensively in the area. Dilham is popular with boat users, especially small non-powered boats that can travel on the North Walsham and Dilham canal as far as Horning. Dilham church, St Nicholas, was built in the 1930’s and is a simple yet elegant church.
