Garvestone village, Norfolk
Garvestone is a village north west of the town of Wymondham and north east of Watton, on the B1135 road. The village was noted in the Domesday Book as Gerolfestuna, and takes its name from the river Yare, which winds through the village and was once known as the Ger or Gar.
