
Lingwood village, Norfolk
Lingwood is a fairly large village situated near to the A47 Norwich to Great Yarmouth road. The village is roughly 9 miles from both Great Yarmouth and Norwich and close to the Norfolk Broads. Lingwood merges with the village of Strumpshaw, famous for its RSPB sanctuary at Strumpshaw Fen. Lingwood has a good community spirit with a variety of clubs and organisations making use of the village hall. Lingwood St Peter is on the edge of the village, and was built mainly in the 14th century.
