The large Broadland village of Marsham is surrounded by wooded countryside and lies on the banks of the Mermaid, a tributary of the River Bure. The village is situated 2 miles south of the town of Aylsham and 10 miles north of Norwich. Marsham church, All Saints, was built in the 14th century and has a fine tower complete with 8 bells.
