The small village of Ormesby St Michael is located 7 miles north west of Great Yarmouth and 15 miles east of the city of Norwich. The village is near to Ormesby Broad and Ormesby Little Broad, part of the Trinity Broads and within the Broads National Park. Ormesby St Michael lies 2 miles west of its neighbouring village Ormesby St Margaret, and the village church, St Michael, is a modest building with a neat thatched roof.
