Salhouse is a rural village in the Broadland district of Norfolk, some 6 miles north east of the city of Norwich. Situated on the edge of the Broads National Park, the village has a lovely broad, with many wild birds and flowers and is a popular place with both locals and those visiting Salhouse. The village has a number of shops and amenities that include a village shop and post office, village hall, primary school, 2 public houses, garage and petrol station and playing field. There are regular bus and train services into Norwich, and park and ride facilities at Postwick and Norwich International Airport.
