Wormegay village, Norfolk

The village of Wormegay is situated roughly 7 miles from the historic town of King’s Lynn. Wormegay Castle is an unusual earthwork motte and bailey fortress, located next to the village. The motte is large in area, surrounded on 3 sides by a 2 metre deep ditch.
