It has a 70 acre common surrounded by old oak trees and the school, public house and shop that once stood in the village have now gone. Fritton Church, St Catherine, has a round tower and a fine rood screen that dates back to the 1500’s.
(Near Great Yarmouth)The village of Fritton is located 5 miles south west of the town of Great Yarmouth, on the A143 road. The village church is St Edmund, and nearby is Fritton Lake, a popular tourist attraction set in acres of mature woodland.

Accommodation ratings
The English Tourism Council, RAC and AA ratings mean that you know
that the accommodation has been thoroughly checked and rated before
you make your booking.
Hotels are given a rating of between one and five stars; the more
stars, the higher the quality of room, service and facilities. Guest
accommodation, which includes bed and breakfast, guesthouses and
farmhouses, is rated in the same way, but with diamonds rather than
stars. The levels of quality and customer care get progressively
higher as the diamonds increase.
