Hunstanton is well known for its cliffs and safe, clean, sandy beaches. It is an ideal place from which to explore the unspoilt North Norfolk heritage coastline and coastal towns such as Blakeney, Wells-next-the-sea, Sandringham, Walsingham and the Holkham and Houghton Estates are within easy driving distance. There are numerous bird sancturies and excellent golf courses nearby. Windsurfing, tennis and bowling are popular attractions in the town itself.
Gate Lodge is only a few minutes walk from the beach and is centrally located for the shops, theatre, Sea Life Centre, leisure complex and the bus station.
