How to find us
Stower Grange is located 5 miles north west of Norwich on the A1067 in the small village of Drayton.
This journey takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes from London,
1 hour from Newmarket Racecourse and 1 hour 20 minutes from
the University City of Cambridge.
Directions From the Ring Road
Take the A1067 Fakenham Road (turn off the ring road at ASDA)
About two miles along the A 1067 you reach Drayton.
At the junction controlled by traffic lights turn right into
School Road (Garage, two pubs and a couple of shops) If you
pass Budgens supermarket you have gone too far
At approximately 200m the road bears to the right, here you must
take the left hand fork and the hotel is about 50m on the right
hand side. If you see fields on the left you have gone too far
From the Southern Bypass
Travelling westwards take the exit sign-posted Norwich (A 1074). At the roundabout at the top of the ramp take the
third exit making your way over the bypass. At the next roundabout
take the second exit, sign-posted Norwich.
Take the first left into Longwater Lane (about half a mile).
Continue to the T-junction in the village of Costessey.
Turn Right, continue to the mini roundabout and turn left.
This road takes you through the village, past the old mill
and ends up at the junction with the A1067 Fakenham Road in the village of Drayton (There is a garage on your left at this junction). Cross over
the junction, passing the Red Lion Pub on your left, you are
now in School Road. At about 200m the road bears to the right
but you must take the left hand fork. Stower Grange is just
around the bend on the right hand side.
Although this may sound a bit involved it is very straightforward
and avoids the ring road, which can be busy especially at peak times.
