offers a vast range of facilities for leisure pursuits of every
imaginable type. From a leisurely swim and a round of golf to laser
gaming and dry-slope skiing, Norwich

Riverside Swimming Centre - Situated by the River Wensum,
between Norwich
City Football Club and the railway station, this is a modern complex
with a 25 metre pool and a well-equipped gym.
Sportspark - This is within the University of East Anglia’s
campus, but is open to the paying public, and is the largest in
the region. It has excellent facilities for swimming, squash, climbing
and badminton and a fitness centre.

Sports Village and Aquapark - This is on Drayton
High Road adjacent to Asda supermarket. The aquapark has a 25 metre
pool, leisure pool with bubble jets, rapids and slide and a shallow
paddling area suitable for toddlers. There are facilities for tennis,
badminton, squash, snooker and aerobics and a soft play area suitable
for the younger visitor.
Norwich
City Football Club - Norfolk’s Premiership football
club is on Carrow Road. The ground will seat 26,000 fans for the
2004-2005 season. The Club’s Director and majority shareholder,
Delia Smith, has a superb restaurant within the grounds for those
who want to sample food at its very best.
