He uses the potter’s wheel and the fire of a gas kiln to create a large range of “reduction” stoneware entirely by hand. He has developed an assortment of practical, repeatable, replaceable and affordable tableware and kitchenware in a wide variety of glaze colours which he blends himself in the interests of consistency. The products are dishwasher and microwave safe. Malcolm also produces a multitude of more decorative pieces, including house name plates and other commissions, and some distinctive lamps. He also enjoys the challenge of making orders to customers’ own ideas. The pottery carries the distinctive “windmill” symbol.

Housed in Norfolk’s oldest purpose built museum, it contains the finest seashell collection in the United Kingdom. During 2003 the museum underwent major refurbishment but it was still able to retain much of its original charm. The collection also includes items such as a piece of Pompeii and an axe head that was found near Glandford.

It was a corn windmill working from the time it was built in 1828 until the early 1930`s. At that time all its interior machinery below the brake wheel was removed and since then private owners, with the help of grants, donations and admission charges have kept what remains sound and in good repair. Sails and stocks were replaced in 1990 and a complete replacement of the fantail and fantail gallery is intended as soon as funds become available. The Mill is open all year round to visitors from 10am till dusk, with a small admission charge. Explanatory diagrams are displayed on each of the 4 floors to enable the inquisitive visitor to understand how it once worked, along with an accumulating collection of photographs and information telling the mill’s history and story through time.

It was built by Thomas Coke (first Earl of Leicester), in the mid 18th century. Since then, seven generations of Earls of Leicester have lived in the hall. There is a stunning marble hall and magnificent state-rooms, and the 3,000 acre park is home to roughly 800 fallow deer. The deer park is open every day apart from Christmas day, with free unlimited access. As well as wandering around the house and park, visitors can also look at the stables, coach house, a working pottery and a museum of vehicles, with rural and domestic bygones.
