If I am selling with an Estate Agent can I
still sell with you?
Multiple Agency
- Yes. In this case, you may employ as many agents as you like to sell
your property. The agent who sells your property is then paid commission.
If you sell your property through this website then you don’t
need to pay commission to any of the agents.
Sole Agency
- Yes. If you are already using an estate agent to sell your property
then they are the only agent who can sell your property. But, as you
are not an estate agent, if you find a buyer yourself through this website,
then you do not have to pay the estate agent commission. As a matter
of courtesy you should tell your agent that you are also advertising
your property privately. It could make them work a bit harder!!!
Sole Selling Rights
- Yes. However, if you have signed an agreement like this you would
still have to pay commission to your estate agent if you sell your house
on this site. Ask your agent if you can have a discount if you do sell
it privately.

How do I know how much to advertise my property
for?
- If you are selling through an agent as well, then advertising your
house for the same amount avoids confusion. If you have not had a valuation
then think about how much you would be prepared to sell for. Be realistic
though!

online service to communicate with them. It is your responsibility to
make sure that you are happy to talk directly to the buyer or meet them.
