Castle Acre village, Norfolk

The small but attractive village of Castle Acre is close to the north Norfolk coast, 5 miles north of Swaffham, on the River Nar. Castle Acre Castle and Priory are ruins steeped in history and were founded by William de Warenne, soon after the Norman conquest.
