Norfolk

Norfolk has a spectacular coastline, with long sandy beaches, high cliffs, sand dunes, flint pebble banks and salt marshes. It is also well known for the Norfolk Broads, an extensive waterway that can be fully explored by boat.

There are many towns and villages within Norfolk, all with their own individual characters. The port of King's Lynn has a long trading history, and today it still has large trade links with the rest of Europe.

Norfolk is a firm favourite with families because of traditional seaside resorts such as Great Yarmouth, Hunstanton, Wells, Sheringham and Cromer, all with excellent beaches and entertainment.

Norfolk has many historic houses and museums and over 650 medieval churches, which is more than any other county in England. There are art galleries, country parks, steam railways and bird reserves, and pedestrianised shopping centres in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King's Lynn.

Norfolk has something for everybody. If you are looking for somewhere to relax, or somewhere to explore, you will not be disappointed when you visit the beautiful county of Norfolk.
