The south Norfolk village of Stockton is located roughly 4 miles south east of Loddon, close to the Suffolk border. This tiny village is just to the west of the busy A146 Lowestoft to Norwich road and consisted of only 25 households in the 2001 national census. Stockton church, St Michael, is a petite pretty building with a perfectly proportioned round tower.
