Carleton Rode village, Norfolk

Carleton Rode  village information

Situated 13 miles south west of Norwich, Carleton Rode church, All Saints, dates from the 13th and 14th centuries and is open for worship. In 1860 Carleton Rode tower mill was built using clay lump, which was an unusual practice. Sadly today the tower mill can no longer be seen, having collapsed in 1957.
