Bressingham Steam & Gardens
Published date: May 2020

Bressingham Steam & Gardens has been a charity since the early 1970s and is home to Alan Bloom’s collection of mainly steam powered engineering, gardens and Dad’s Army Appreciation Society’s collection. Open to the public since 1961, the attraction is located in the village of Bressingham, west of Diss in Norfolk, and is enjoyed by both young and old.
Visitors can get up close to moving steam powered exhibits, with smoke, soot and oil that comes as standard, and learn from the knowledgeable volunteers who happily share information about this fascinating collection. Discover several narrow-gauge rail lines, steam engines and vehicles and see the Dad's Army Appreciation Society's collection, which has been at Bressingham since 2000. Take a trip on a steam engine, taking in the views of the gardens, ride the gallopers and maybe buy a driver experience package?
There is a children’s play area, shop and café serving food and drink throughout the day.
