Fakenham Racecourse

Fakenham Racecourse is the only National Hunt Racecourse in Norfolk and had its first meeting in 1905, attracting 37 runners. Just one meeting per year was held on Easter Monday, with racing continuing each year except for enforced breaks during war years. Racing fixtures have increased over the years and Fakenham racecourse continues to draw in the crowds.

Fakenham Racecourse runs its own caravan and camping site, open to guests all year round and being just 10 miles from the beautiful north Norfolk coast, makes it a popular holiday destination.

Many outdoor events can be held at Fakenham Racecourse and these have previously included: outdoor concerts and cinemas, car and motor bike shows, firework displays, product launches and dog shows.

The Racecourse’s facilities are suitable for all types of private events including birthday celebrations, weddings, black tie events, business seminars, corporate events, sales exhibitions, conferences, team building days and gala nights.
