Greyhound racing takes place three times a week at Yarmouth Stadium, with extra meetings for their annual Derby Festival in September, and in December, when they also add extra meetings.
Their Raceview Restaurant with its 240 seats is open every greyhound meeting and offers great views of the racing as well as good food. Groups of 5 or more can take advantage of their greyhound party deal that includes admission, race card, food, drink and tote bet. This offer is available to pre-book only and further details can be found on their website.
Yarmouth Stadium, in conjunction with Spedeworth International, hosts motor racing throughout the year, from hot rods to banger racing. The 327-yard tarmac oval racetrack with steel cable fencing and track lighting makes for an exciting evening of entertainment. Spectators have a number of different viewing options available, including an undercover stand, race-view bars and outside grass banks. The on-site restaurant is closed for motor racing but there are lots of different outlets serving a range of food and drink.
On greyhound racing nights the stadium’s private executive lounges are available and are great for parties, with each lounge having its own private betting tote, bar and buffet.
Greyhounds make great pets and the Yarmouth Stadium website has details about re-homing these placid retired dogs. For more information, please use the link below.
