Christmas markets and fairs in Norfolk are a real festive treat, with mulled wine, mince pies and maybe even the chance to meet the big man himself. Here are some of the best Christmas markets around Norfolk, with gifts galore just in time for Christmas.
Christmas Fair – Holt Hall
Saturday 23rd November – Sunday 24th November 2019
Set in 75 acres of stunning parkland and woods, Holt Hall is a beautiful house located just outside the Norfolk village of Holt. There will be over 65 stalls selling an array of innovative, unique and quality Christmas gifts, many of which are locally made. These include local food and drink, clothing, crafts, paintings, plants, Christmas wreaths, decorations, glassware, art, soft furnishings, candles, pottery, make-up and skin care. An impressive 15-foot Christmas tree and log fire will greet visitors at the entrance hall. There will be refreshments available including crepes, handmade pizzas, cakes, pastries and seasonal hot and cold drinks.
Tickets are available at half hourly intervals to avoid overcrowding of the Hall and entry is from 9.30am – 3.30pm, closing at 5.00pm. It’s a ticket only event costing £3.50 per person for adults and children 5 years and over.

Christmas Market – Jane Austen College

Between 11.00am and 4.00pm Jane Austen College will be hosting a Makers’ Bazaar Christmas market with 30+ stalls selling locally handmade gifts, perfect for Christmas. Refreshments available including waffles and cakes and entry is FREE.

Pensthorpe Christmas Market – Pensthorpe Natural Park
Sunday 24th November 2019
This popular Christmas market at Pensthorpe returns this year on Sunday 24th November 2019. Providing a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the high street, there will be pop-up food, drink and craft stalls and lots of bespoke creations and unique gift ideas including delicious foody gifts, with many made by local Norfolk producers. There will also be live music, plus complimentary mulled wine and mince pies for members.
Pensthorpe Christmas Market will be open from 10am – 4pm and will be situated in their courtyard hub area, so there is no need to pay to visit the Christmas Market. They are however offering reduced admission for entry into the park on the day of the Christmas Market (Sunday 24th November 2019 only) at £8pp, with under 3s free.

Christmas Fayre - Great Yarmouth

The Great Yarmouth Christmas Fayre is FREE to enter and takes place in the Priory Centre and inside Great Yarmouth Minster. This annual 3-day Christmas extravaganza has craft, food and gift stalls and festive entertainment including Santa’s Grotto at the Priory Centre.

Deepdale Christmas Market – Burnham Deepdale

This will be the 11th annual Deepdale Christmas Market, taking place on Friday 29th November, Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December 2019 in the beautiful north Norfolk village of Burnham Deepdale. Discover unusual and unique presents, decorations and food and drink from over 120 local artisans and producers. Look out for tasty treats, wreaths, cheese, soaps, glassware, bags, photographs, accessories, toys, books, homewares, biscuits, chutneys, jewellery, tea, beer, cordials and more. There is sure to be something for every conceivable taste and budget.
Considered one of the region’s best seasonal markets, browse three large marquees around the Dalegate Market site as well as the barn of Deepdale Backpackers & Camping, and St Mary’s Church.

Indoor Christmas Market - Ormiston Victory Academy, Costessey

Cracking Christmas Fair – Octagon Barn, Little Plumstead
Saturday 30th November – Sunday 1st December 2019
The Cracking Christmas Fair is a two-day event bringing together tradition, creativity and style and offers families the opportunity to spend a few hours at the barn, get involved in Christmassy activities as well as browse and buy a wide range of gifts. £2.50 per adult, kids go FREE and there will be plenty of free on-site parking.
The fair takes place on Saturday 30th November from 10am to 4pm and Sunday 1st December from 11am to 5pm. There will be Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, gift stalls selling jewellery, art and ceramics, gins and vodkas, hampers and firepits and more. There will also be a variety of food and drink stalls offering tasty treats such as festive mulled wine, hot chocolates and roasted chestnuts. The Octagon Saxophone quartet will be entertaining visitors on Saturday from 12-2pm and on Sunday from 2-4pm. They are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!

There will be over 35 stalls located in their tent and awning field inside their festive marquee. Norfolk Christmas Fayre – Norwich Cathedral

Browse and buy from local makers and producers who will be showcasing their wares in Norwich Cathedral; a Christmas market packed full of the joys of the festive season.
This free fayre on Friday 6th December and Saturday 7th December 2019 will include locally produced festive food and drink and unique gift ideas.
