Snowdrops in Norfolk - where to see them
Published date: February 2020
The sight of snowdrops peeping through the earth in January never fails to cheer us up and brightens these often-gloomy winter months. Despite the cold, these hardy little pretty white flowers can be found thriving in woods, ditches, pastures and orchards across Norfolk. After a long, dark, wet and cold winter their delicate white petals and perfect green leaves are a very welcome sight that signals new life and hope.
Norfolk is blessed with an abundance of snowdrops, flowering between January and March, and there are plenty of opportunities to spot some near you. So, pull on your wellies and wrap up warm and head out in Norfolk to discover some of the county’s most beautiful wintry landscapes that play host to some of the first blooms of the year.
