Great Yarmouth Beach
Explore 15 miles of soft sandy beach at Great Yarmouth, from busy parts to areas that are virtually tourist free. Find deck chair hire, access ramps for the disabled, seaside shops and cafes selling ice creams, doughnuts and candyfloss. Take a boat from Britannia Pier and head out to see the seals at Scroby Sands.

Time and Tide Museum
Occupying the premises of the Tower Fish Curing Works, the Time and Tide museum documents Great Yarmouth’s history from the Stone Age, with lots of fascinating information about the town’s past fishing and maritime activity.

A National Trust property, the Elizabethan House Museum is a fascinating place to visit with fine art, decoration, furniture and paintings dating back to the 1500s and gives an insight into what a merchant’s home was like in Tudor times.
Next to Britannia Pier, Joyland is a children’s amusement park that that has been drawing in the crowds since 1949. Rides include the world-famous snails, tyrolean tub twist, spook express kiddie coaster and pirate ship. Open March - October, there is also a popular American-style diner, serving fast food.
