There is nothing like putting on your winter woollies and standing round a crackling bonfire, watching fireworks magically light up the night sky. The sweet smell of toffee apples, candy floss, popcorn and cinder toffee fill the air as children excitedly hold sparklers with their knitted mittens. There is something special about Bonfire Night, however old you are.
Get out your winter coats and wrap up warm, Bonfire night is just around the corner. Here is a list of some of the best 2018 firework displays and bonfire events in Norfolk.
Pleasure Beach Gardens
Wednesday 24th October 2018
FREE firework display at the Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Visit the Pleasure Beach during October half term and enjoy a free firework display when the park closes at 7.30pm on Wednesday 24th October 2018.
Charity Fireworks Night and Candlelit Procession
Saturday 27th October 2018
Deer’s Glade Caravan and Camping Park, White Post Road, Hanworth, Norfolk.
An event for all the family; pumpkin carving competition and candlelit procession from Deer’s Glade car park. Hog roast, burgers, pies, soup, vegetarian option, beer tent, cider, mulled wine, hot drinks, cake and sweets.
Follow ’Guy Fawkes’ through the woods up to Muntjac Meadow and watch the fireworks. You can even stay the night or maybe make a weekend out of it? Deer’s Glade is set in beautiful Norfolk countryside, close to the coast, and offers camping pods, mega pods, bell tents, shepherd’s huts as well as traditional pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes, and luxury holiday cottages. Even if the weather is chilly, you can choose from a selection of accommodation at Deer’s Glade that is available all year round.
Entrance to the Fireworks event is £15 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Single admission is £5.

Fireworks Display at Haven Seashore Holiday Park

Haven Seashore Holiday Park, North Drive, Great Yarmouth is the location of this fireworks display.
Tickets go on sale Saturday 20th October until Saturday 27th October at 3pm at Seashore Holiday Park. Pre-booked tickets are £3 per person for those aged 4+. Tickets sold on the night will be £5 each. Under 4s are free.
Gates open at 5.30pm and attractions include: fairground rides, side stalls and music. Burger King and Papa John’s takeaway will also be available, with hot drinks from Costa Express.
Display starts at approximately 7.30pm, (weather permitting).

Catton Park Spooks and Sparks Fun Fair and Fireworks

Spooks and Sparks in The Park is on again this year at Catton Park, Norwich.
With an extra children’s firework display, a range of new local food stalls, fancy dress competition and a pumpkin carving competition.
Funfair from 4pm until 9pm and the Unhinged Circus will provide a spectacle of flame juggling and stilt walkers.
£5 per person, under 5s are free.
Norwich Castle November 2018 Fireworks

Big Boom Bonfire Night Fireworks Display is an event for the whole family. Norwich City Council host a spectacular fireworks show for free, in the heart of the city…..to music.
The fireworks are let off from Norwich Castle, so join the crowds that gather in front of City Hall for the full visual and audio experience.
This FREE event will take place at 7.30pm and children are welcome.
The Lighthouse Inn, Walcott, Firework Display
Friday 2nd November 2018
Gates open at 5.30pm for this family fireworks display in Walcott, at The Lighthouse Inn.
First display is at 7.15pm, second display at 8.30pm, with live entertainment from 6pm-9pm.
Advance tickets – family £20 – 2 adults and 2 children, or £30 on the night.
Single advance ticket - £10, or £15 on the night.

Fawkes in The Walks, King’s Lynn

This annual free firework display in King’s Lynn is one of the town’s winter highlights. Join the crowds at 6pm as they gather in King’s Lynn’s park, The Walks, South Street, to see the bonfire and fireworks display.
Taverham Scout HQ Firework Night 2018

Taverham Scout HQ, Sandy Lane, Taverham is home to this hugely popular annual event.
Gates open at 6pm with displays at 7pm and 8pm.
There is a bar and BBQ, as well as a number of other stalls.
Admission is £6.00, under 6’s free.
This is a very popular event and usually sells out well before the night. Ticket availability on the gate is unlikely, advance purchase is recommended.

Lenwade House Hotel, Firework Display

Watch the sky come alight with this display at Lenwade, Norfolk. Brand new for 2018, this firework display from the professionals at Skylit Pyrotechnics is sure to thrill.
There will be a bonfire display and the chance to meet Mr Lenwade House Hotel Guy Fawke, before he goes up in flames. You can also bring your own small homemade Guy Fawke and watch them go up in smoke.
Fun for all the family, with glow sticks, sparklers, bouncy castle, sweets, popcorn and BBQ (at an additional cost).
Doors open at 5:00pm, Bonfire lit at 6:00pm, firework display at 6:30pm.
Tickets £8.00 per adult, £4.00 per child - under 4’s go FREE.
This is a ticket only event and a limited number of tickets are available. No tickets will be available to purchase on the door.

Filby Fireworks and Bonfire
Sunday 4th November 2018
This event takes place at Filby playing field, with gates opening at 5pm. Firework display starts at 7pm.
There will be music by DJ Ross Stanton, a children’s funfair, hot food, soup and a bar.
Adults £4, children £2.
Free Fireworks Display, Norfolk Snowsports Club
Sunday 4th November 2018
This FREE firework display at Norfolk Snowsports Club, Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, Norfolk kicks off at 7pm.
Join the fun at Norfolk Snowsports Club for a fantastic fireworks display, at 7pm. Arrive early to grab a hot dog and doughnut and keep warm with a mulled wine or hot chocolate from their hot chocolate station. It’s a child-friendly event and everyone is welcome.
