It’s a busy period for Father Christmas, there are toys to make, Christmas lists to read, elves to organise and he needs to check who’s on the naughty list. However, he always manages to make time for the children who are eager to pay him a visit. Around Norfolk there are a number of locations where Father Christmas can be seen during November and December 2018. Visit him at one of his festive grottos in the region; is there anything more exciting than meeting the big man himself? How does he manage to be at different locations at the same time? It’s Christmas magic of course!
Father Christmas’ Workshop in Jarrolds
Father Christmas will be in Jarrolds, Norwich each day from Sunday 25th November until Christmas Eve. Everyone who visits him receives a lovely gift. Tickets are £5 per child, available from Toys, Christmas or Craft till points in store. During busy times they may operate a timed ticket allocation.

Santa’s Magical Journey - Thursford
Visit Father Christmas in the magical setting of Thursford and go on a memorable fantasy journey past penguins and polar bears and giant-sized teddy bears. Watch the busy elves hard at work in the toy factory and see the amazing wrapping machine. Meet many fantasy characters such as the snowman family and look out for snowballs!! Make your way through the magical forest to Santa’s House where the man himself will be waiting with gifts for all the visiting children.

The Santa Experience at Wroxham Barns
Santa will be at Wroxham Barns with his elves in December 2018. Children can visit Elf College and take part in fun challenges such as learning the “Elfabet” and receive a gift from Santa. Suitable for children aged 2 to 10 years and places are limited so booking is essential. Prices range from £7.50 to £12.50 per child. Full details are on their website.

Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden
Visit Father Christmas and his reindeer tucked away amongst the trees at Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden. Enjoy live music, craft stalls, illuminations and an Elves’ Workshop with Christmas crafts. Garden entry applies for adults and concessions. £10 per child to visit Father Christmas and receive a present (includes garden entry from 10am). Pre-booking is essential to visit Father Christmas. Church Farm Rare Breeds Centre
Father Christmas is visiting Church Farm Rare Breeds Centre in Downham Market from 29th November through to 23rd of December 2018. Visit him in his wonderful woodland retreat and see the lovely nativity scenes that tell the Christmas story in the barn, with real donkeys, sheep, rabbits and poultry.
There is no need to book, as they operate a ‘no queuing’ system - just see the elf and she will give you a time to return if it is busy. There are two options available:
Option 1 - To visit Father Christmas, receive a present, see some of the animals in nativity scenes and visit the tearoom and gift shop – all children £10.00, adults and seniors free. Entry to the indoor tree house play area or outside play area or the rest of the farm is not included.
Option 2 – All of the above and access to the rest of Church Farm, indoor tree house play area, the sand and straw barns, petting pens, ride-on tractors and outdoor playground. Children aged 1 or under £10.00, children aged 2 £13.50, children aged 3 or over £15.50, adults £7.90, senior citizens £7.50. Full details can be found on their website.

Vancouver Quarter King’s Lynn
Visit Father and Mother Christmas in their free Grotto in King’s Lynn on specific dates in November and December 2018. Bookings are essential and are taken online for a 10-minute time slot. There are walk-ins every Saturday and Sunday that the grotto is open, on the final hour of the day. These will be on a first come, first served basis. The Grotto is completely free but donations to EACH charity are most welcome.

Meet Father Christmas at Cromer Pier
Father Christmas and his elves, Twinkle, Sparkle and Shimmer will be arriving by a sleigh pulled by trusty reindeers Rudolph, Prancer, Dancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Blitzen and Donner. His grotto will be located on Cromer Pier on the theatre stage in December 2018.
Enjoy colouring with the elves before you meet the man himself - with plenty of photo and video opportunities for the grownups.

Steam Trains to Santa at Bure Valley Railway
Visit Santa at his grotto via a steam train ride. Let him know that you have been good and what you are hoping to receive at Christmas and pick up your early Christmas present from Santa himself.
Enjoy the entertainment and festive refreshments for all the family before climbing aboard the train for the return journey to Wroxham. There is complimentary mulled punch (non-alcoholic) & mince pie for the grownups, with squash and Christmas shortbread for the children.
It’s a 45-minute train journey each way, with approximately 1 hour 30 minutes at Santa’s Grotto. Booking is essential. Adults and children £17 – full details can be found on their website.

Meet Santa at Banham Zoo
Children can enjoy the thrill of meeting Santa at Banham Zoo in December 2018. Visit him in his ice cave and get an early present.

North Norfolk Railway Santa Special
The magical Santa Special services run in the weeks prior to Christmas, departing from Sheringham station and travelling through some of Norfolk’s most beautiful winter scenery to Weybourne, where Santa is waiting. Adults are served sherry and mince pies and children receive a soft drink and chocolate treat and a present.

At Highway Garden & Leisure you can pre-book a slot with Father Christmas in his grotto located on the A146, Norwich to Lowestoft Road. Meet some furry faces as you travel through their winter wonderland and take part in some fun games along the way. His cosy grotto is where the little ones will receive their special gift.

On Saturday 8th December 2018, 11am - 3pm visitors can soak up the festive atmosphere at Peter Beales Roses. Meet Father Christmas in his grotto and explore their beautiful winter gardens. There will be craft and food stalls, face painting, donkeys, carols, mince pies and mulled wine. Set within the rose gardens in Attleborough, this Christmas Experience is an event that the whole family will enjoy.
