Located southeast of Norwich, near to the pretty village of Trowse, Whitlingham Country Park is a beautiful part of Norfolk that is owned and managed by the Whitlingham Charitable Trust.

Popular with walkers, cyclists and those with an interest in water sports, Whitlingham Country Park is a tranquil spot and a great place to meet up with friends and family. Its 2-mile wheelchair and pushchair accessible path around the Great Broad, woodland trails and meadows are definitely worth exploring on foot or on bike; a gem of a place, close to the centre of Norwich.

Visitors can expect to see an abundance of flora and fauna, whatever the season, from an array of wildflowers, birdlife and fungi to mammals and invertebrates. Popular with local clubs and groups, Whitlingham Country Park is the perfect spot for those wishing to expand their knowledge of nature and enjoy the beautiful countryside location of this Norfolk country park.

Free to enter, Whitlingham Country Park relies heavily on the generosity of its volunteers and supporters, who manage the paths, meadows and woodlands to ensure those who visit have an enjoyable time. There is ample parking and a nominal charge for vehicles. Whitlingham Country Park has a lovely café serving hot and cold food and drinks. Throughout the year there are a number of events and activities taking place, such as organised walks, fitness classes and orienteering.

Whitlingham Adventure is located within Whitlingham Country Park and offers a range of water and land-based activities. These include sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, raft building, archery, canoeing, bushcraft, climbing and orienteering and caters for both adults and children.

Whitlingham Broad Campsite offers camping in all forms from basic grass pitches to yurts, bell tents and boutique shepherd’s huts and is set within 80 acres of country park.
