The quiet village of Babingley is roughly 6 miles north east of King's Lynn and is made up of rolling fields and marshland. Its church, St Felix, which is on the Sandringham estate, is now a mere ruin covered in ivy. It has a 14th century tower and was a working church until the early 19th century.
