Litcham
The Breckland village of Litcham is 6 miles north east of the town of Swaffham and 25 miles west of the city of Norwich. In 1977 Litcham was designated a conservation village and has 11 listed buildings as well as a church and a priory that date back to the 12th century. Litcham All Saints' with its square tower was largely rebuilt during the 15th century and has an interesting rood screen that dates from the 16th century. Litcham Common, which is to the south of the village, is a managed nature reserve consisting of lowland heath and mixed woodlands.
