Mundesley
The north Norfolk village of Mundesley is a popular seaside destination and regularly receives awards for its clean beach and water. Roman coins and Saxon objects have been unearthed in the village confirming Mundesley has been occupied since ancient times. During the summer months Mundesley's population doubles, with the arrival of many holiday makers who are attracted by the long stretches of sandy beach. Mundesley has a wide range of holiday accommodation and a golf course and driving range popular with both locals and visitors to the village. Mundesley has several shops and a village hall, as well as a number of restaurants and cafes. Mundesley church, All Saints, stands on the cliff top and was restored during the early 1900's after falling into disrepair.
