Roughton
The north Norfolk village of Roughton is located 3 miles inland from the coastal town of Cromer and is a thriving village with a number of amenities. Roughton church, St Mary, is mainly 14th century, with a round Saxon tower. In 1933 Albert Einstein, famous for his 'Theory of Relativity' escaped from Germany and lived in a hut in the village.
