Waterden
The tiny village of Waterden is close to Fakenham and Burnham Market and if you were not specifically looking for it, you could easily miss it. Waterden has a little 11th century church that has been lovingly restored in recent years by a local farmer and the Norfolk Society. In the early 19th century, T.W.Coke and his tenant began successful experiments to replace the traditional Norfolk sheep, bred for their wool, with a sheep that would also provide good meat.
