Wereham
Wereham is a village located 13 miles south east of King's Lynn. The village is built around the village green and pond, with newer housing to the east of the village and mainly Victorian buildings in the centre. St Margaret's Church was mostly built during the 13th century, and to the west of the church is a well called St. Margaret's Well. On St. Margaret's Day, the people used to go to the well and drink ale, play music and dance. Alms were given, and offerings and vows were made.
