West Lexham
The small village of West Lexham is situated between the towns of Swaffham and Fakenham. St Nicholas Church was largely rebuilt during Victorian times and secured to stop it falling down in the 1990's. It has a really medieval look to it and, while being very unembellished by carvings, is pleasing to the eye. West Lexham sand and gravel quarry is now disused, apart from for being used as the venue for a small rave in 2005.
