Published date: July 2019

Located in the north Norfolk village of West Runton, between the popular seaside destinations of Cromer and Sheringham, Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary is a place where animals are well cared for and loved after an often-difficult start in life.
Open from Easter through to the end of October (closed Saturdays), visitors can meet the resident horses, ponies, donkeys and other animals and explore the farming bygones museum. There is an indoor area for wet weather play and outside play areas, a gift shop and café serving vegan food.
Suitable for all the family, Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary is the perfect place for animal lovers.
